觀察使
(观察使, 觀察使) 官名。 唐肃宗乾元元年(758), 改采访处置使为观察处置使, 掌考察地方吏政绩, 举善惩恶。 后兼管民政, 辖一道或数州, 凡不设节度使之处, 多由节度使兼任。 宋置各州长观察使, 无职掌, 仅为武臣迁转之阶。 辽南面方州官亦置。 辛亥革命后, 北洋政府改清分守、 分巡道为观察使。
